        Meet Your Matthews Dentist - Dr. Dawson

        From a young age, Dr. Dawson knew she wanted to change lives as a dentist. Growing up, her unwavering passion for athletics and sports laid an integral foundation for her dedicated and meticulous work ethic. After winning two state championships and one world championship in competitive cheerleading, she attended the University of Oregon where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.

        Chasing her dream of becoming a dentist, she earned her DDS from Howard University College of Dentistry and completed a one year residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in 2017. Today, Dr. Dawson is a highly-qualified Mint Hill dentist with a heart for creating healthy, beautiful smiles. More than just dentistry, she truly values interpersonal connection and creating personalized experiences for each patient in her care.
